Enjoy Life Even When It's Craptastic

𩵠Hello From My Heart š©µ
No matter what life throws at you,
still take the time to enjoy it.
At the end of an 80's movie "Ferris Bueller",
the character of the same name
(played brilliantly by Matthew Broderick)
says my favorite catchphrase:
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
Ever since I seen this movie and heard this quote, 40+ years later the inspiration has stayed with me.
I do my very best to make every day fun and adventurous no matter what I'm going through.
I call the tough days "Craptastic".
Craptastic days are that wonderful mix of challenges I really don't want to deal with along with some quality time in nature or just doing stuff I love to do.
Stuff like painting, writing, singing, fixing things, cooking, eating out and decorating.
Trust me, taking a "time out" makes me happy and helps me keep the sanity with the calamity of this thing called life.
My Mother Phyllis always told me
"Do at least one thing each day that
makes you happy."
I've lived by this quote, too.
Smart lady... I miss her.
My Father James used to tell me when things go wrong that "This is only temporary."
Watching my Father navigate life's challenges with both his silent strength and his love of music, especially in the hard times, has helped me navigate and overcome my own hard times.
Smart guy... I miss him, too.

I was lucky to have both my parents. They have taught me to adapt to and overcome challenges through silent strength, dealing with things head-on, art and music.
They taught me to enjoy life no matter what through "Creative Responsibility."
Creative Responsibility is using the arts and other outlets to stop and enjoy life
- while navigating it.
I even wrote a book about this named "Surthrival"
The direct link is below:
On America's Got Talent, there was a contestant that has touched the life of millions.
Her name was Jane Kristen Marczewski
A.K.A. "Night Birde"
Jane has certainly inspired me when she entered that stage, took the microphone and told the world she was in end stage cancer and then said her amazing quote:

Jane died less than a year after her
America's Got Talent appearance in 2022.
Jane still went for her dream fully knowing that her days were numbered.
She wasted no time.
Jane taught me to do the same thing, too.
Happiness is an inside job.
You must find it from within.

Find your happiness and project this out, the world will mirror happiness back at you.
So...
When you're having a Craptastic day:

But most of all, live life to the fullest and enjoy it regardless of past or present circumstances.
Much Love,
Sue
