š Hello From My Heart š
One of the things I have learned is that one of the ways to create joy is learning to balance life's many demands with some rest.
I used to be a "nose-to-the-grindstone" person, both out of necessity and avoidance.
I used to work 3 jobs. The first, Full time at the Postal Service as a clerk, then afterwards I would go to work cleaning a warehouse. The third job was cleaning houses which stemmed from the warehouse job.
All were fulfilling to me, however I just didn't know how to rest.
After a few years of working these three jobs, I
burned myself out and developed autoimmune issues and cancer.
My body was telling me to slow down.
These days I give myself three or four things to do a day then "coast" for the rest of the day.
I'm really loving this.
I feel so much better emotionally and physically.
In the movie "Eat, Pray, Love" based on Author Elizabeth Gilbert's book of the same name, the wise man in a village in Thailand named Katut
told Elizabeth Gilbert (played by actress Julia Roberts) that the key to life is balance.
Katut was right.
There's so many "truth nuggets" both in this book and movie based on this book.
I highly recommend both.

The book and especially this movie
were like a guide on what to do after a previous break up that I had.
Balance is key to a happy life.
I found mine and I hope you find yours, too.
