Pushing 60: Finding Your True North

š Hello From My Heartš
Do you feel like you're at a crossroads in life?
I've often found myself there, too.
What helps me make a tough life decision is
taking a "breath" and stepping back for a short while.
Taking one day at a time and not rushing a decision helps, too.
Writing a list of pros and cons can also lead you where you need to be.
Spending time alone in nature and meditation helps a lot.
Just listening to music or even cleaning relaxes my mind enough like meditation to
"receive" the answers I need to make a sound decision.
But most of all, do not rush anything.
I believe in God's divine timing and that everything works out.
Let your soul be your pilot
One of the times I was at a crossroads I heard the song "Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot" by Sting
and it helped me put things in perspective.
Give it a listen, it may help you, too:
I hope when you're at a crossroads,
that you take time to figure things out.
Do you know where you're going to?
The theme song to the 1975 movie "Mahogany" with Diana Ross of the same name asks this question. It always pops in my head whenever I need to make decisions, too.
I hope you find your true North.
Much Love,
Susan
