❤️ Hello From My Heart ❤️
I know all too well what it's like to be misunderstood.
Since my Father's passing, in the past year and a half I've had to deal with some very spiteful, troubled, fearful, insecure and jealous people who had spread some false, vicious rumors about me.
I still kept the faith that the truth would come out and eventually, it did.
It took several months for the truth to come out and I actually received a few apologies.
Fear, spite and jealousy does terrible things to people.
They say and do terrible things.
I've dealt with comments ranging from my ability to handle legalities of my father's estate, comments on my bank accounts as well as repairing my home which was flooded by Hurricane Helene 6 months prior to my Father's death.
They thought I was "too soft" and inept to handle these things.
I'm very happy to say I proved them all wrong.
They underestimated the fire inside of me.

I've learned to forgive them (but never forget) so that I can move on.
Since then, I've chosen to walk the solitary path so that I can gain clarity and peace.
It's been a real hellride, but I choose to
keep on moving...and living well.
I had watched an episode of NCIS titled
"Keep Going" and it inspired me.
Dr. "Ducky" Mallard on NCIS said this:
"When you're going through hell
-KEEP GOING"
I have lived by this statement since then.
I refer to "The Four Agreements"
by Don Miguel Ruiz

The Four Agreements are as follows:
1) Be Impeccable with your word
2) Don't take anything personally
3) Don't make assumptions
4) Always do your best
I've lived this philosophy and it's done me well.
Especially #2 Don't take anything personally.
People project their own fears and insecurities onto others.
It's really not about you, it's more about the other person's insecurities and fears.
Most of all, my belief that God sees all and acts accordingly to vindicate me supersedes
anyone's false accusations.
I wrote, sang and produced my song
"Gotta Keep Moving" a few years back.
I hope this helps you "keep on moving"
Writing, singing, producing, art and being in nature helps me to navigate and get through any situation.
I highly recommend art in all of it's forms.
Movement helps, too.
When you take a walk, do Tai Chi, swimming or any other physical activity, it helps your nervous system calm down and relax.
On this journey of mine, whenever a big problem would come up, I kept remembering my Father James saying to me
"This is only temporary"
He was right.
Situations and people that I thought would have killed me emotionally and physically, didn't.
One moment at a time, hour, day, week and month at a time things got better for me and I'm loving the peace.
I'm stronger than I have ever been in my life and no longer tolerate nonsense.
All I had to do was believe in God, be proactive in my situations and keep on moving.
If you feel singled out, misunderstood or disrespected remember to take a step back
and breathe. Once you relax, assess your situation, be proactive and keep on moving.
Sometimes we need a "time out" to figure out people and situations.
We also need to talk with God, too.
Like Sammy Hagar sings in his song
"Both Sides Now"
We got to learn how to listen
Before we learn how to talk
We got to learn how to crawl
Before we learn how to walk
If you want a little peace
Sometimes you got to fight
Got to walk through the darkness
Before you stand in the light.
These words ring so true.
If you're feeling misunderstood and alienated, give this song a listen:
Both Sides Now by Sammy Hagar
I wish you all the best on your journey
All My Love,
Sue
