Current events have been very challenging lately.

The War in Iran

Civil rights

Women's rights

ICE Abuses

Violations of The Constitution, including

Previous attacks on Freedom of Speech and

OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to PEACEFULLY ASSEMBLE to protest, too.

As difficult as things may be, it's encouraging to see people speaking up in memes on Facebook, artwork, music, radio, comedy on TV and the internet, too.

Besides peaceful protesting, petitions and litigation, We The People are still able to come together in solidarity through expression of the arts.

When we express ourselves, not only do we make an impact, we heal each other as well as ourselves through the arts.

Putting my angst into art, music and writing has been very cathartic for me.

We The People still have a say and can make a difference, even in times like these.

Keep posting on social media

Keep making those funny political memes

Keep creating those creative picket signs.

Talk it out peacefully on Facebook and other platforms.

You're still making an impact, more than you know.

After all,
