Pushing 60: Tooling Around

❤️ Hello From My Heart ❤️
I think ladies need more tools for self-sufficient
lives, both spiritually and figuratively.
Here's what I keep in my spiritual toolbox:
Look at challenges as opportunities:
A good, positive outlook even when things go wrong. It always leads to a better situation.
Music:
Music gets you out of a funk.
My Father James taught me at an early age that music helps to make you feel better.
Anytime we would drive or work around the house, music would always be playing.
Make a playlist of songs that inspires you,
It really helps.
A few songs I use are:
Free by Ulta Nate'
The Magic Power by Triumph
Magic by Pilot
Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys
Hold On by Wilson-Phillips
Gotta Keep Your Head Up by Andy Grammer
Love Will Save The Day by Whitney Houston
Hold Your Head Up by Argent
Gotta Keep Moving (by me)
Butterfly & The Violet Flame
We are all vibrational beings and music vibrationally raises our energy and mood.
Even when I'm having a craptastic day, music makes it better.
Movement:
Keep on moving, both mentally and physically even when you feel you can't.
If you're depressed, walk around in nature or even just around the house. Physical movement helps the parasympathetic glands to keep you going.
No matter how bad you feel, get out of your pajamas, wash up and get dressed.
This alone helps me to get out of a funk.
Take things one day at a time
Do three tasks a day then rest, a balance of work and relaxation is a key component in daily living.
I believe everything happens for a reason
Forgive those that hurt you as it sets YOU free
Movement heals...
Besides spiritual tools, I think we ladies need power tools to get stuff done around the house as this is part of movement, too.
I love my purple tools and pink drill ❤️ 💜 ❤️
I get a great feeling of independence from being able to hang my own pictures, curtains and blinds.
It's the little things that make me happy 😊
I'm happy just "tooling around".
All My Love,
Sue
