ā¤ļø Hello From My Heart ā¤ļø

Happy Valentine's Day !

Love is certainly in the air and not just for romance.

Today especially, love in all of it's forms is celebrated.

Healthy self-love is a precursor for all of the good things in life.

It took me nearly a lifetime to learn this.

Better late than never, right?

For a long time I struggled with codependency.

Codependency is when someone takes on other people's issues instead of their own to escape pain.

...Just another form of avoidance.

It's actually a selfish kind of love as it takes away from another person's journey and lessons.

Lesson learned.

Codependency was just another avoidance defense mechanism.

Years ago I read the gold standard book

"Codependent No More"

By Melody Beattie

I highly recommend this.

Another way of avoidance was working three jobs to avoid a bad situation at home.

I got burned out, stressed out and

really bummed out.

I pushed myself so hard my body shut down

with multiple illnesses.

I wrote and sung a song about self-love returning called

"Where Have You Been All My Life"

Please give it a listen and let me know what you think. Click on the link below

My good friend Joe Gioglio produced this.

Here's a Valentine for you:

I wrote this blog post about giving love to yourself, as love begins with YOU:

Valentine’s Day Is For Everyone:

Today I choose to celebrate Valentine's Day enjoying life ā¤ļø

ā¤ļø Love begins with YOU ā¤ļø

So pamper yourself today, whether you're single or not.

Take yourself out to eat

Buy those flowers for yourself

Go see that movie

I have a saying "Eat the chocolate"

which means to simply enjoy life.

Eat the chocolate, revel in self-love and give love to those who need it the most ā¤ļø

ā¤ļø Happy Valentine's Day ā¤ļø

All My Love,

Sue
